Standing Fleet crushes Hard Alliance BLOPs droppers in Q3

Serega Jakuard of Hard Alliance was reported in Q3 in a Pilgrim. He was in a Haven shooting an MTU. Standing Fleet comms started to get busy. Limyh Oteo in a Hecate and Forrae Deren in a Thrasher were on the scene first and harrassed him and prevented him from cloaking. I too sent my alt in and (stupidly) tackled him too early and lost my inty on being neuted out.

As people responded on Standing Fleet comms, Limyh went in for the tackle but the Pilgrim burned out of range and neuted him and he died. Forrae also got point but lost it and the Pilgrim warped out.

I arrived in system with my Curse which I warped to an offgrid. We also had Limyh in a Gila, Westris in an Apoc, First Commander’Riker in a Drake NI, Kaiju Ookami in a VNI, and Forrae in a Keres. All we needed now was to get tackle.

Our wishes were granted when the Pilgrim landed on MGAM at range, warped to celestials, then back to MGAM gate,  jumped, was tackled, reapproached and jumped back to Q3.
With Apoc, Drake NI, Gila, VNI and Curse on grid lighting him up he decided to open his cyno. Unfortunately for him, he almost instantly evaporated.

At first Limyh called for everyone to get out. But when he saw that only 4 BLOPs battleships had made it through, he started calling primaries.
“VLAD in the Sin!” (Limyh knew him to be a Hard Alliance FC.)
People were calling their points and scrams. Westris’ Apoc now exploded but slowly we burned and neuted down the Sin.
“He’s down. Now ADOLFITO in the Panther...Oh my God I love you guys!” cried Limyh as he called the next target. Limyh’s Gila exploded but we kept on the Panther till he died.
The only enemy ship left at this point was Aleksandr1973 in a Sin which we now also ground down.
The remaining Panther had managed to escape.

Killed 4.17 billion
Lost: 638 million
Efficiency: 86.7%

When the last Sin exploded our guys actually cheered on comms! It is hard to describe the euphoria and satisfaction we all felt at having beaten these BLOPs droppers on their own terms.

We looted the not inconsiderable field of wrecks and a goodly amount of loot was given to those who lost their ships in the heroic battle.

Join Standing Fleet and get on Standing Fleet comms so you don’t miss out on exciting battles like this.
